The Author

Dorothy Bee Williams, “The Queen Bee,” is a retired US Army veteran from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who has overcome immense personal challenges to become a celebrated artist. Holding degrees from Jackson State University and Yavapai College, her accolades include the Editor’s Choice Award from the International Poetry Society and a 1st Place win at the National Veteran Creative Arts Festival. A master of several artistic mediums, her passion lies in clay sculpting, capturing a divine connection. Guided by deep faith, she looks forward to the legacy she leaves for future generations, particularly her God-daughter, Princess Imoni Danielle.
